South Florida (specifically the Deerfield and Pompano Beaches and Fort Lauderdale) is one of the world’s best areas for diving. The water is usually warm and clear. The dive sites are numerous, close to shore (normally no more than 2 miles offshore) and are of varied depths.  Where else can one hop on a boat at 8:30 am, go out to a wreck in 270 feet of water, do a dive on it and be back to the dock by noon, for lunch.  On top of all that, being located near Fort Lauderdale in the United States you have all the same luxuries you have at home, so bring the family with you. There is plenty for families to do while you’re doing your classes. Plus, if you don’t live near beaches, we’ve got world-class beaches.

The dive boats used for CCR classes are located within minutes of the Atlantic Ocean. Just off-shore are beautiful coral reefs, with both hard and soft corals, schools of tropical fish, as well as amazing reef marine life. South Florida also boasts dozens of wrecks for divers to investigate. Wrecks range in depth from shallow, suitable for CCR 40 meter class dives, to deep, perfect for the CCR 100 meter course dives.
